The hosts covered five attacks of the opponent during the entire game period, while Zenit was able to stop only one attack from Nizhny Novgorod. With an equal game in other elements, this is what helped Andrey Dranishnikov's wards to even the score in games, winning 25:22.
But it didn't work out any further. Zenit turned on their maximum game on serve and in attack, not allowing the hosts to count on success. The third and fourth games ended with the same crushing score of 25:14. St. Petersburg won in four games.
