At the beginning of the first game, the teams exchanged errors on serves. Ivan Yakovlev scored two blocks at the start, closing Roman Potalyuk and Milan Ebadipura in turn. A series of mistakes by the St. Petersburg club allowed the owners of the site to take the lead (9:7). Then an equal fight ensued, which lasted until the score of 18:18. The heroic game at the end of the Ural game in defense and the submission of Uros Kovachevich allowed Ufa to take the lead, and Egor Yakutin puts an end to the first game with his ace (25:19).
In the second game, with the score 2:2, Yakutin makes an effective block, and Kovacevich makes an ace. The guests responded with Andrey Titich's ace and Alexey Safonov's attack. In the middle of the game, Potalyuk and Ebadipour's mistakes increase Zenit's advantage (19:16). After another ace from the Ural players, Viktor Sidelnikov was forced to take a timeout (15:13). Approaching the end of the game, another ace gave Ebadipour (18:15). The block of the same Ebadipour puts an end to this set – 25:23.
After losing the first point in the fourth set, Ural unrequited took as many as five 5:1. And already with the score 7:2 in favor of the home team, Sidelnikov takes a timeout to cheer up his players. Thanks to Yakovlev's first pace and Kovachevich's block, Zenit reduced the gap to two points (8:10). By the middle of the fourth game, two mutual mistakes on serve made the score 16:13 in favor of Ufa. Zenit players could not cope with Potalyuk's powerful attacks, each of which reached its goal at 20:16. So Yakutin also closes on Fedor Voronkov's single block (21:16). A block-out performed by Ebadipour leads the Ufa club to victory – 25:18.
