Roman Pakshin scored on the line, but after that, Vladislav Babkevich got into the hands of 20:23, Kemerovo residents made a mistake and when entering the ball into the game – 21:25.
Slavi Kostadinov's two straight serves put Kuzbass ahead – 7-5, after which the binder outwitted the opponent with a discount, and Vladislav Babkevich stumbled into a block of Kemerovo residents – 14:11. Timofey Tikhonov also failed to cope with the Kuzbass block – 16:11. I had to be nervous in the end: Maxim Kosmin and Ivan Yakovlev closed Asparukh Asparukhov twice (21:20), but the Bulgarian player responded with a straight serve, and Roman Pakshin finished the set with an attack – 25:23.
Kuzbass also confidently started the third game – 8:4, but due to their mistakes in reception, they left Zenit a chance - 13:14, and after Vladislav Babkevich's ace, the guests equalized. But the hosts also managed to torment Sergio Buzato's wards on serve and return the handicap: Slavi Kostadinov and Roman Pakshin served an ace – 20:16. With the score at 25:20, Kuzbass completed the set.
The fourth game was played on equal terms and turned out to be the most stubborn. Kuzbass volleyball players stopped punching Zenit's block: Roman Pakshin turned out to be under the block twice, Dusan Petkovic did not pass either – 12:13. Roman Pakshin served through (19:19), but could not stay longer on the serve, and Vladislav Babkevich easily walked through the triple block. Kemerovo residents also had a difficult time on Maxim Kosmin's serve – 19:22, in the end Kuzbass played one setball, but again failed to serve – 23:25.
In the tie-break, Kemerovo residents could not withdraw from Maxim Kosmin's serves in any way – 1:6. But as soon as Kuzbass was released from this arrangement, he stopped serving himself – 4:8, and on the other hand, Vladislav Babkevich strenuously drove balls into the opponent's court, Fedor Voronkov served through – 8:14. With the score at 9:15, Zenit pulled out a victory in five sets.
