Dynamo's colossal failure in the fourth set – in all elements! – forced Alexander Klimkin to resort to substitutions and timeouts at the start, as well as attempts to "pull" the game with video reviews, which, however, Alexey Babeshin enjoyed using throughout the match. The sixth tie-break of Kuzbass, the team enchanted for five-set matches, was coming inexorably and still came.
The most equal set, of course, came at the very end of the game – according to all canonical canons. Biryukov and Denis Schenkel, who had just come out, kept eating at the right moments. Denis Biryukov, the most productive Dynamo player, earned the most important break ball with a block on Roman Pakshin, the most productive player of Kuzbass. Next, with the help of the audience, the atomic guys received a free Asparukhov attack in the out, and they did not miss their chance.
The epic match, which included endless video reviews, excessive emotions on both sides and even yellow cards, ended as casually as possible – with two innings from both sides.
