Two aces on the account of Petar Premovich already in the opening of the first set, coupled with successful attacks by Anton Karpukhov, gave Nizhny Novgorod a head start – 11:14. Asparukh Asparukhov already started the second game with an ace, but the advantage by the end of the first game segment was 7:10 for the guests. After a timeout, the Kemerovo residents of Nizhny Novgorod began to make mistakes in attacks and on Denis Chereysky's serves, Kuzbass led – 12:10. Then everything is in the hands of the hosts: Asparukh Asparukhov was good in the fourth zone and served through (22:15), and Dusan Petkovich skipped the triple block of the ASK. Ivan Valeev and Klim Mozzhukhin were also under the Kemerovo block at the end of the set. Kuzbass finished the game confidently – 25:18.
The third set was a repeat of the second, but for ASK – 18:25. The initiative was in the hands of the guests already at the beginning of the game – 5:7, 8:12, and then the Nizhny Novgorod residents only increased their advantage. Kirill Fialkovsky and Roman Pakshin came to the Kemerovo team's playground to finish the game, Slavi Kostadinov stood up to pass, and a little later Dmitry Yakovlev appeared diagonally, but the overall picture remained the same: after giving Petar Premovich through the nose, ASK already had "+7" - 14:21, it was not possible to reverse the course of this game of Kemerovo.
In the fourth game, Kuzbass acted decisively. After 9:9, Alexey Babeshin's team rushed forward: Asparukh Asparukhov served through the back, Roman Pakshin easily bypassed the triple block, and Valentin Golubev pulled out almost everything in defense – 18:13. Kemerovo residents easily completed the set in their favor: Inal Tavasiev covered Alexander Grabenkov in the center of the net, Denis Chereysky said his word in in the center of the net, and Roman Pakshin hit a triple block on the matchball – 25:18.
