Belogorie entered the third set with fervent ease. There was no escape from Zabolotnikov's attacks, Al Khachdadi continued to score points, and everything seemed to be going in favor of the hosts – 9:6, 11:7. And suddenly, after Sergei Trotsky took a timeout, Kuzbass rapidly turned the game around.
Lobyzenko was unstoppable, Pakshin's serve flew – 11:11. And although Belogorie continued to lead, and then went by 3 points – 17:14, the game of the guests already looked much better and more complete. The softening on the block, the defense, the successful substitution in the diagonal of Petkovich, the strikes in the out of the Belgorod attackers led to an equal ending and the game on the balance. But here the nerves of Kemerovo volleyball players turned out to be stronger. Pakshin took a chance on the serve and made an ace set in favor of Kuzbass - 25:27.
In the fourth game, the guests trailed the Lions for only half of the set. Zabolotnikov, Al Khachdadi and Zhang were ruthlessly effective in attack. Only Pakshin withstood Kuzbass's level, but when he fell under the block of the hosts for the second time in a set, his team found itself on the edge of the abyss – 17:13. Then the Moroccan serially broke away, and the fate of the set was decided – 23:15. Zabolotnikov brought Belogorie the 13th victory – 25:17 and 3:1.
Mohamed Al Khachdadi scored 26 points, Georgy Zabolotnikov improved his personal best by 18 points, and Jinyin Zhang scored 15 times. Roman Pakshin scored 18 points for Kuzbass, Alexey Lobyzenko scored 9, and Alexander Markin scored 7.
