The Gopher women's basketball team scored 94 points against Northwestern on Jan. 12 at Williams Arena to give them their first Big Ten win of the season. Prior to its win over the Wildcats, Minnesota had not scored 90 points in a conference game since a 90-75 win against Purdue on Jan. 19, 2003.
The Gophers to shot 9-of-20 (.450) from three-point range and 28-63 (.444) overall, with three Gophers scoring in double figures in the win. Rachel Banham scored 28 points, Sari Noga scored 17 points and Shayne Mullaney added 13 points.
