Despite trailing Wisconsin by 16 points early in the second half of their opening round B1G Tournament contest, the Gophers rallied to defeat the rival Badgers, 74-68, in overtime. The Gophers fought their way back in the second half to tie the game with less than a minute remaining in regulation.
The Gophers were led by Rachel Banham's 22 points and Amanda Zahui's 15th double-double of the season with 12 points and 19 rebounds. The win gave the Gophers their 20th victory of the season, their most since 2009, and their first conference tournament overtime win since 2005.
