Rachel Banham broke a 29-year old scoring record to give the Gophers an opening round victory over Green Bay in the WNIT. Banham scored a game-high 31 points to give her a school-record 714 points on the season.
Banham finished the season with 750 points, well above the previous record of 708 set during the 1984-85 season by Laura Coenen. Following her record-breaking season, Banham moved into fourth place on the Gophers all-time scoring list with 1,993 career points.
