From the very first draws, the Yamal team seized the initiative - 6:3 and, despite the efforts of Schenkel and Biryukov in the attack, by the middle of the set they retained the advantage - 11:7. The hosts acted reliably in defense, and an ace from Vyshnikov made the score 17:12 in favor of FAKEL. Sosnovobortsy made mistakes more often, and although they managed to reduce the gap on Kayumov's serves, by the end the Yamal team was still ahead - 22:19. Dovgan's ace brought Dynamo a break point, but the Novourengoy team did not allow the opponent to do more - 25:23.
Enns finished off to the floor, and Dynamo continued to make mistakes, and now FAKEL was confidently ahead in the opening of the second game - 7:2. But Biryukov finished off to the floor after defending and leveled the gap, and the mistakes of the TORCH players brought Dynamo-LO ahead - 17:15. Sosnovobortsy held a two-point advantage by the end - 20:18, but the hosts of the site, through the efforts of Enns in attack, equalized the score, Kapranov's accurate shot brought FAKEL to the matchball, and Biryukov's mistake brought the Yamal victory in the third game - 25:23. And now everyone was waiting for the denouement in the "golden set".
The guests started the decisive game powerfully: three consecutive aces from Skrimov gave Dynamo-LO the advantage - 3:0.
