The Volga residents responded with no less effective blocking actions – 20:21. And yet the unstoppable Mikhail Nikkel led Samotlor to victory in the first set – 25:22.
Nova cheerfully started the second game. On Maxim Shpilev's serves, the Volga team led 3-0. With varying success, the hosts of the site maintained this advantage until the middle of the set – 14:11. However, by the end of the game, the teams came up with an equal score – 19:19. And then followed a series of mistakes by vartavchan and timeouts by Valery Pyaskovsky - 20:23. The double replacement of the Samotlor mentor helped to reduce the gap – 22:23, but at the end of the set, Vitaly Papazov acted unmistakably at Nova – 24:22. More skilled Volga residents took the initiative into their own hands – 14:8. Two guest aces performed by Alexander Militsky and Stanislav Kassel became a temporary success for the Vartavchans – 12:15. The Volga continued to dominate on the grid and in attack – 19:13, 22:14. It was not difficult to bring the case to victory in the set – 25:15.
In the fourth game, Nova seized the initiative from the first balls and maintained its dominant position on the court until the end of the set. Samotlor tried to return to the game, but unsuccessfully – 11:13. The Volga Region acted more confidently and deservedly won the game – 25:18 and 3:1 in the match.
