After Vibo's Super League relegation, Nishida will return to Stings next season

The main star of Japanese volleyball Yuji Nishida will not continue his career abroad.

According to Gian Luca Pasini, Nishida will return home at the end of the season with Vibo Valentia in Italy. The agreement to leave the best diagonal World Cup 2019 was concluded even before the departure of Vibo from the Superleague (the club took the penultimate place in the regular season that had just ended).

Nishida, 22, will next season play for the team that brought him to pro volleyball and won the V-League in 2020, the JTEKT Stings. The team from the city of Kariya (Japan) was the last and only team for which Nishida played before moving to Italy.
