In the first set, Korabelka immediately took the lead, delighting the audience with powerful serves from Elizaveta Nesterova and attacks from Talia Moreno. However, Omichka quickly regained the initiative with a series of serves and attacks from Anastasia Azanova. The match was played in close combat, with minimal differences. The key moment came at the 23:23 scoreline, where the St. Petersburg players showed their character: two consecutive blocks and a mistake by the visitors resulted in Korabelka winning the set 26:24.
In the second set, Korabelka made a powerful breakthrough, leading 5:0 and forcing their opponents to take an early timeout. Although Omichka tried to close the gap, the St. Petersburg team's precise attacking play and consistent service (with an ace from Talia Moreno) allowed them to confidently win the set 25:20. The tension of the match was further exacerbated by an ankle injury sustained by Kristina Besman of Omichka.
After the break, Omsk transformed. Having lost at the beginning of the third set, the Omsk players, thanks to a series of mistakes by Korabelka and a well-organized game, managed not only to tie the score, but also to take the lead – 14:9. Despite a double substitution, the St. Petersburg players were unable to turn the tide of the game, and the guests took the set with a slight advantage – 20:25.
The fourth set was won by Omsk, which regained its spirit. From the very first balls, the guests started to press, acting aggressively on the serve (Azanova's ace) and effectively in the attack. Korabelka tried to resist, but the stability in the game of their opponents and their own mistakes left them no chance in this game - 18:25.
The fifth set, as expected, became a lottery. The teams were in step, exchanging attacks, blocks and serves, as well as mistakes. With a score of 12:11 in favor of Korabelka, the decisive factor was the tight double block by Elizaveta Palshina and Talia Moreno, which gave the hosts a crucial point. Ultimately, Korabelka proved to be more accurate and composed in the final stages, securing a victory with a score of 15-13
