Taisiya Konovalova also added her name to the statistics of aces, solidifying the success of the Kazan players, who rode the tailwind - 19:13. The opponents' excessive desire to score resulted in a mistake on the court, while Ekaterina Enina, on the other hand, was stable on the net. Two textbook-perfect fast breaks and two blocks brought a confident end to the first set - 25:15.
In a home-and-away manner, Gaila Gonzalez opened the second set with a 4:2 set-up. The Dinamo players dictated their own course of events, gradually building up a lead and forcing the visitors to take a break at 15:9. The blue-and-white team acted with utmost confidence and freedom, controlling the entire game and leaving no room for their opponents to offer resistance. Without allowing the opposition to create any competition, the Kazan team secured the set with a two-fold advantage, winning it 25:14.
In their previous form, the hosts took the bull by the horns from the very first balls and took the lead, 8:2. Polina Matveyeva was the only member of the Kazan team who did not record an ace in this match, but she made up for it in the third set. In the middle of the game, Korabelka showed its teeth, getting almost up close (13:11), but it failed to withstand the onslaught and break the composure of Kazan Dynamo, resulting in a 20:13 loss. The experienced Kazan volleyball players confidently led the match to a well-deserved victory, finishing with a score of 25:17.
