Amanda Leveille earned a 28-save shutout as the No. 3 Golden Gophers and No. 8 Fighting Hawks skated to a scoreless overtime tie at Ridder Arena Saturday evening. North Dakota picked up an extra point in the WCHA standings with a shootout victory.
UND (14-9-5, 11-8-5-3 WCHA) won the 11-round shootout, 2-1. Amy Menke scored on the first shootout attempt, and Amanda Kessel scored for the Gophers in the second round to tie it at 1-1. Charly Dahlquist then scored the shootout-winner for the Fighting Hawks in the 11th round.
