The No. 2 Minnesota women's hockey team took two WCHA points from Ohio State with a 3-1 shootout win over the Buckeyes after the teams tied 3-3 in overtime in front of 2,340 fans at Ridder Arena Friday night.
Sophomore Dani Cameranesi (Plymouth, Minn.) scored the shootout-winning goal after juniors Hannah Brandt (Vadnais Heights, Minn.) and Milica McMillen (St. Paul, Minn.) also scored on their attempts. Junior goaltender Amanda Leveille (Kingston, Ont.) stopped Julianna Iafallo's shot in the second round for the 3-1 shootout victory.
