Defensemen Megan Wolfe and Lee Stecklein scored third-period goals to lift the No. 3 Golden Gopher women's hockey team to a 2-1 win over Minnesota State at Ridder Arena Sunday afternoon.
Minnesota State (3-19-2, 0-17-1-0 WCHA) led 1-0 most of the game on a first-period power-play goal by Hannah Davidson, but Stecklein scored the game-tying goal on the power play at 6:22 of the third period and Wolfe scored her second-straight game-winner with 7:33 remaining to give Minnesota its 20th win of the season (20-3-0, 15-3-0 WCHA).
