On Sunday, September 13th, Gopher Athletics hosted its largest community outreach event of the year — the ninth annual HopeDay Festival.
An estimated 200 families from the HopeKids organization participated in this year’s Festival, along with the over 500 current and former Gopher student-athletes who volunteered their time.
HopeKids is an organization that supports children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses, supporting nearly 1,000 families in the Twin Cities area alone.
This year’s festival included sporting clinics from all 25 Gopher sports and student-athletes, pony rides, a petting zoom, rock-climbing, face painters and many other activities.
Thank you to everyone who made this year’s HopeDay Festival such a great success!
