The teams started the New Year's Siberian derby on equal terms – 6:6. After that, Lokomotiv jumped ahead – 6:9 after the block. The spurt of the guests dragged on: their block worked perfectly, Kazachenkov hammered the balls in attack, who also gave out a good series of serves with an ace, making the score very comfortable for his team – 8:16. Krasnoyarsk players had Osipov pass instead of Kreskin, and in the end, the finishing player Bocharov replaced Kukhno. Novosibirsk confidently went to defeat with a two-fold advantage of 11:23, but in the end the hosts balked and won back several points, even forcing Plamen Konstantinov to take a timeout, but in the end Loko completed what had begun — 16:25.
At the beginning of the second game, Yenisei led 6-4 after an attack and a single block by Bocharov, but the guests did not allow them to go ahead and quickly caught up. The teams were level for the first half of the game – 15:15. And then the Krasnoyarsk team lost their serve, made a mistake in the attack and helped the opponent to take a break point. Kazachenkov earned another break at 16:19. The owners of the site tried to catch up - 20:21, but Lokomotiv held the end together, effectively covered the Krasnoyarsk team twice with a block and finished the game in their favor – 21:25.
Novosibirsk started the third game confidently — 1:4. Atanasov continued to shine in the attack, and Kazachenko helped him, who again scored with a straight serve — 8:12. Yenisei tried to catch up, but had problems receiving and regularly lost serve. Throughout the middle of the set, Lokomotiv held this three—point difference — 15:18, and in the end made a breakthrough, including thanks to their good serve - Kurbanov and Kurkaev scored aces — 16:22. Such a breakaway helped the guests calmly bring the matter to victory — 19:25.
