In the midst of a grueling stretch of four straight games against ranked opponents, the Gophers' first home test in that span came against the No. 11 Ohio State Buckeyes. After a closely-contested first half, the Gophers grabbed the lead but had trouble putting away OSU for good, until a key play at the 2:53 mark.
DeAndre Mathieu dished the ball after running underneath the basket to Andre Hollins,
waiting in the left corner where he sank a 3-pointer, his second of the game which also pushed the Gopher lead to nine. Minnesota would end up walking away with a 63-53 win over the Bucketes, their first of three home victories over top-25 opponents.
