Phoebe - My name is Phoebe.

Alexa - Very well, and what is the name of this charming little baby?

Phoebe - Brexit Baby! My show Brexit Baby is for my graduation project in Belgium. I did a one-year master's degree in puppetry in Belgium. The idea came about after I had difficulty staying in Europe after Brexit. And in fact, I have one year to stay in Belgium.

Alexa - How did you learn French?

Phoebe - When I was at school, I also learnt French, but the result was that I had no confidence, I didn't learn much in fact, because in England, learning a second language is quite difficult if your parents don't speak it. And when I left school, I actually started learning French again, not in French class, and I spent a lot of time reading novels and listening to podcasts in French. Then I volunteered in Belgium for the Tof Theatre through a European programme, and that's where I really started speaking French all day long.
