What's up, guys. It's Marcan. In today's Paragon guide, we will cover Grux.

Grux is a melee fighter that strives on getting to the back line during team fights and distrupting the enemy damage dealers. His abilities make it very easy to get where ever you want and lock down enemy carries.

Grux's Passive is called Only The Strong Survive. He permanently gains 2 health whenever he kills a unit. This passive is applied to enemy minions, heroes, and jungle monsters. As stated earlier, Grux lives in the backline of team fights and this passive allows him to gain health very easily, surviving longer and making more of an impact. Only The Strong Survive does cap at 100 stacks, or 200 health, however.

Grux's Right Click ability is called Double Pain. This is a high damage, area of effect attack that applies bleed to all enemies hit. This is a pretty straight forward ability. The more enemies you hit with it, the better. You'll want to get into the middle of the enemy team and use Double Pain to start damaging your enemies. It is very easy to hit, as it damages enemies in front and to the side of you. You can also use this ability to farm minions easier to stack up your passive.

Grux's Q is called Smash and Grab. I think this is one of the best abilities in the game. He smashes the ground in front of him with his hammer blades and drags all enemies in range back to him. Smash and Grab is awesome for grabbing enemies before they can flee. When the enemies are dragged back to you, they land directly in front of you allowing you to easily land a Double Pain. Smash and grab is great for farming as well. Wait until the entire minion wave is in front of you and use it. It will drag all of the minions right to you, allowing you to finish them off easily.

Grux's E is called Stampede. He charges forward in a line, damaging any enemies he runs through. This is a perfect ability for Grux. His job is to get to the back line and disrupt the enemy carries and Stampede does just that. Whether you come in from the back, or right through the enemy front line, Stampede gets you where you need to be. You can also use Stampede if you are coming from the jungle to close the gap on enemies before they have a chance to flee.

Grux's R ability, or Ultimate is called Warlord's Challenge. This ability just solidifies Grux's role as a disruptor. He clangs his hammers together and stuns all enemies around him for a brief time. If that's not enough, he also gains movement speed and his basic attacks are more powerful AND apply bleed while the hammers are ringing. During team fights, you'll want to E to the back line damage dealers, Ult, then use Double Pain and start bringing down the hate. If any enemies try to disengage, just use Smash and Grab to bring them right back into the fight.

You'll generally want to build Grux tankier, with a bit of damage to really maximize his kit. Cooldown reduction will work as well, so you can use your full combo more often.
