North Korea: Kim Jong-un leads first congress in 36 years

North Korean Leader Kim Jong-un delivered a keynote address during the first Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) congress in 36 years at the April 25 House of Culture in Pyongyang, Friday.

At his arrival, Kim Jong-un was greeted with applause by the members of the highest body of the WPK. He addressed the participants from the stage for around 30 minutes, referring to the nuclear programme that the country is developing, as well as the economic growth that aims to achieve, among other issues.
