NEW 2014 Renault Twingo III in detail

2014 Renault Twingo III: Two decades after it revolutionised the small car segment with the first-generation Twingo, Renault renewed form scatch its city car and designed the third-generation Twingo inspired to the the original Twingo launched in 1992 and the popular Renault 5. In 2008, Renault's engineers and designers set out to create the next-generation Twingo and found a partner in Daimler which, at the same time, was exploring ideas for the next-generation two- and four-seat versions of the Smart. After early talks, a strategic cooperation agreement was concluded by the two firms in 2010, marking the official green light for the joint-development of New Twingo and the next versions of the two- and four-seat Smart.

The result is a 5-door small yet roomy city car thanks to a rear positioning the 3-cylinder engine that frees up the front end and considerably improves the turning circle. The new 2014 Renault Twingo III will be powered by a modern 0.9 turbo 3-cylinder petrol engine with a maximum power output of 90 HP.
