Novosibirsk fans also remembered a special evening - the grand opening of the museum of the history of the Lokomotiv–Novosibirsk volleyball club took place at the Lokomotiv Arena.
The Lokomotiv History Museum will become a new point of attraction for volleyball fans at the Lokomotiv Arena. The information stands reflect the history of the formation of the team, starting with the "North" - the progenitor of Novosibirsk. Special attention is also paid to the main victories and triumphs of Lokomotiv, the main cups and trophies of the team are presented. In addition to the main team, visitors will be able to learn more about the youth system of railway workers, learn the traditions of Novosibirsk volleyball history and plunge into the history of domestic volleyball in the year of its centennial anniversary. Symbolically, a steam locomotive is presented in a modern graphic style, which reflects the team's desire for new victories. In the "locomotive" there is a symbolic rail, in which, as part of the last season's playoffs, the team scored crutches after each victory. The Lokomotiv Museum became the first museum in Novosibirsk, which is dedicated to the professional club of the city and is located at the team's home stadium.

From the very first minutes of the match, the newcomer of the team, Bulgarian finish player Martin Atanasov, appeared on the court. In the first game, the key to success was serving, Kazachenkov and Kurbanov were the first to distinguish themselves. By the middle of the set, Novosibirsk's advantage had strengthened to the delight of the stands at 19:16. After Alexey Verbov's coaching break, Kazan managed to equalize the score again at 22:22, but already in the nervous ending, the railwaymen played more confidently and connected the block on the set. In the second game, Kazachenkov forgot over and over again, Lyzik joined him, who also added on the serve. Kurkaev scored with a block on Mikhailov, and the Novosibirsk team got everything in defense. The spurt continued, and already the end of the set for the wards of Plamen Konstantinov – 25:19. The third game continued confidently for the railwaymen, Kazachenkov recorded two aces on his account. With the score 3:7, Verbov returned Labinsky and Volvich to the court, then released Zhogov, Shcherbinin and Chanchikov. Permutations and a coaching break helped Verbov to even the score – 5:11 turned into 16:16. At the end of the game, with the support of the stands and their own successful attacks, Loko gets the first home victory of the PARI Super League 2024 – 25:21, 3:0, a great start to the season at the Lokomotiv Arena and a rematch for the semifinal match in Kaliningrad.
Ilya Kazachenkov's diagonal team scored 18 points! Captain Ilyas Kurkaev has 12 points (5 blocks of them), Martin Atanasov has 11 points, and Dmitry Lyzik has 9 points (and his 4 blocks).
