The three-seed No.15 Minnesota softball team advanced to the semi finals of the Big Ten Tournament on April 9th by defeating Purdue 6-3 in dramatic fashion. After trailing most of the game the Gophers mounted a big 6th inning come back capped off by a grand slam from senior, Bree Blanchette.

The Gophers will continue their quest for a Big Ten Tournament title Saturday the 10th versus the seven seeded Ohio State Buckeyes.
