Justin Kloos scored his fourth shorthanded goal of the season – just one off the school record – in a five-goal second period as the Gopher Hockey program came up just short of a Big Ten sweep on Saturday in a 5-3 loss to Penn State.
Minnesota (14-13-0 overall, 9-3-0-0 Big Ten) hits the road next weekend with a two-game series at Ohio State. The Gophers are currently in a tie for first in the Big Ten with Michigan.
