Les Vieux Fourneaux is a French comic book that I love. It’s a tale of friendship, wisdom, old age, silliness and adventure. And they recently turned it into a movie!

But why should you read it? It’s simple:
1 - La bande dessinée (=comic books) is a big part of French culture.
2 - For you, it’s an easy way to learn: it’s a combination of word and images that you can read at your own pace!
3 - It’s a really good book. And it’s also a French movie you can watch, to practice your understanding of spoken French!
