On May 17, 2016 at TCF Bank Stadium on the U of M campus, several Gopher Athletics donors participated in the first-ever "Recruit 4 a Day" event, presented by the Golden Gopher Fund. Donors got to experience what it's like to be a University of Minnesota recruit, including presentations from football coach Tracy Claeys, men's hockey coach Don Lucia, women's hockey coach Brad Frost and volleyball coach Hugh McCutcheon.
