The supercar-slaying Nissan GT-R – ‘Godzilla’ to its friends – has just been given the biggest and most transformative facelift this generation car has had.
Most obvious is a new interior, with seats, dashboard and infotainment system to push it more upmarket - and into line with supercars like the Audi R8 V10 plus and Porsche 911 Turbo S.
Less obvious - but more significant to the likes of you and us - are the structural improvements, a 20bhp boost, revised ignition, transmission and exhaust systems. You get the idea.
The obvious question is then, how much faster is it?
Well, here's the trick, for a car that is all about the stats (to those who adore it) Nissan have quietly sidelined announcing performance figures for the 2017 model. So Matt Saunders is on the case to bring you the numbers.
Do you think this new GT-R is still a Giant-Killer? Or has it lost its edge? Comment below.
