Justin Kloos scored Minnesota's first goal of the night and later played the hero with the overtime winner as the Gopher Hockey program topped Ohio State 5-4 on Friday night for the Gophers' third overtime victory over the Buckeyes in as many games this season.
Kloos' game winner at 3:25 of the added session capped a three-point night (two goals, one assist) for the team captain as the forward extended his career-high point streak to 10 games. With 32 points this season, the junior currently leads the Gophers in scoring and has matched his season point totals from his freshman and sophomore seasons. Kloos has now tallied a goal in nine of the last 10 games and has multi-point showings in eight of the last 10 games and seven of the last eight.
