Junior Maryanne Menefee (Lansing, Mich.) scored her second career hat trick to lead the No. 2 Golden Gophers to a 7-3 win over Minnesota State at Ridder Arena Friday night.
Menefee added an assist to her three-goal effort to lead all players with four points. Minnesota (20-1-3, 13-1-3-1 WCHA) also received three assists each from junior Hannah Brandt (Vadnais Heights, Minn.) and sophomore Dani Cameranesi (Plymouth, Minn.). Junior Milica McMillen (St. Paul, Minn.) recorded two points on a pair of assists as well.
