MINNEAPOLIS - The top-seeded Minensota women's hockey team defeated third-seeded Harvard University, 4-1, to win the program's sixthnational title in front of a sold-out crowd at Ridder Arena Sunday afternoon.
Junior goaltender Amanda Leveille (Kingston, Ontario) made 19 saves for the Maroon &Gold while Minnesota (34-3-4) received goals from sophomore Megan Wolfe (Eagan, Minn.), junior Hannah Brandt (Vadnais Heights, Minn.) and seniors Meghan Lorence (Mounds View, Minn.) and Rachael Bona (Coon Rapids, Minn.).
