The No. 19 University of Minnesota women’s gymnastics team concluded a two-meet weekend with a victory at its annual Always Dreaming Best of Minnesota Invitational on Sunday afternoon at the Sports Pavilion. With the win, the Gophers went undefeated on the weekend with a perfect 4-0 finish.
The Golden Gophers earned a final team score of 195.325 outdistancing Winona State (186.050), Hamline (184.400) and Gustavus Adolphus (180.200).
The Gophers swept the competition for the second consecutive meet recording team scores of 49.225 on vault, 49.075 on uneven bars, 47.750 on balance beam and a 49.275 on floor exercise while a Gopher gymnast won each of the four individual event titles.
