The Minnesota rowing team successfully defended its home course, winning every event it entered at the 2015 Head of the Mississippi Regatta on a sun-splashed Saturday afternoon.
Competing for the only time at home during the season, the Gophers tallied wins in each of the six events in which it had entried: the Open 1x, the Open 2-, the Varsity 4+ and the Varsity 8+. Minnesota's novice rowers also saw their first competition in the water in the four- and eight-person races.
