The volleyball players of Dynamo Moscow beat Zenit Kazan 3-0 in the Russian Cup final.

The hero of the first game was the home team's finisher Yaroslav Podlesnykh, who played brilliantly in attack (6/9) and with his ace allowed the team to break away in the middle of the set (13:10). Thanks to a good series of serves from Maxim Mikhailov, Kazan reduced the gap to a minimum (22:23), but Podlesnykh scored in the next draw, and then Pavel Pankov, captain of the blue and white team, completed the ace game.
With the score 7:7 in the second set, Dynamo player Denis Bogdan was injured, and Anton Semyshev entered the game instead. Sokolov became the top scorer of the match, scoring 22 points with 58% of attacks.

The capital club won the second trophy this season. Earlier, Konstantin Bryansky's team won the Cup of Legends, beating Zenit Kazan in the final (3:1). Kazan won the Russian Super Cup this season.
