The University of Minnesota football team held its pro day today for NFL scouts, coaches and general managers. Representatives from 23 NFL teams were in attendance, as the former Gophers worked out for their hopeful future employers.
The 23 NFL teams in attendance were: Atlanta, Baltimore, Buffalo, Carolina, Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Denver, Detroit, Green Bay, Jacksonville, Kansas City, Miami, Minnesota, New England, Oakland, Pittsburgh, St. Louis, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Tampa Bay and Washington.
The former Gophers who were at pro day were: Michael Amaefula, Cameron Botticelli, David Cobb, Zac Epping, Isaac Fruechte, Logan Hutton, Marcus Jones, Donnell Kirkwood, Harold Legania, Ben Perry, Cedric Thompson, Derrick Wells, Maxx Williams, Damien Wilson and Devon Wright. Derrick Engel, who was a senior on the 2013 Minnesota team and had his season ended by injury, also participated.
