The No. 2 Minnesota women's hockey team scored two third-period goals to secure a road win over Princeton at the Tigers' Hobey Baker Rink Saturday afternoon.
Juniors Hannah Brandt (Vadnais Heights, Minn.) and Maryanne Menefee (Lansing, Mich.) scored early in the third period to break a scoreless tie before Princeton's Jaimie McDonell scored on the Tigers' fourth power play of the game, but the Gophers held on for the 2-1 win.
