A series of injuries to the players continues in the Dynamo camp: Todor Skrimov, who had just recovered, "broke down" again in the game of the previous round in Novy Urengoy, and on the eve of the game with ASK, the team captain Denis Biryukov was injured. Alexander Klimkin returned to the classic scheme of the game with a diagonal striker – he has only two players left, Denis Schenkel and Marko Ivovich. Sergey Pirainen got a place in the starting line-up, who from the very start began to prove that it was the right decision.
But somehow it immediately turned out that the hosts' serve did not fly, and with the reception of the serves of Klim Mozzhukhin and Alexander Grabenkov, a serious trouble appeared. Nizhny Novgorod offered the opponent a good block when playing on high balls, and at some moments the only one who could break through it on a regular basis was Denis Schenkel. Dynamo twice won back the advantage of the guests during the game and equalized in the end, but the result of the set was decided by a video review that worked for Nizhny Novgorod, confirming that the ball hit the line after Alexander Pyatyrkin's attack.
In the second, everything continued: the hosts' serve did not fly, the guests who caught the courage pressed with a block and retaliatory cannon serves. Alexander Klimkin replaced Pirainen and Konstantin Tyushkevich, releasing first Nazar Litvinenko, then Nikita Borchikov on the court. Artyom Dovgan soon appeared in the game, who immediately managed to stop Pyatyrkin's attack (17:19). Dynamo again tried to gather for the end, again equalized the score at the very flag – the same Pyatyrkin was upset once more by Borchikov (23:23). But the final word was again left to the Nizhny Novgorod team – excellent defensive actions performed by the guests and two good finishes from the Serbian diagonal Petar Premovic.
At the start of the third set, Dmitry Kolenkovsky gave the audience hope for a comeback with two blocks in a row, stopping Konstantin Panasenko and Pyatyrkin in turn. ASK, in response to Panasenko's serve, earned a series of break balls, after which even Marko Ivovich left the court, who was replaced by Fannur Kayumov in the final game. Pirainen and Tyushkevich returned to the game and the pine wrestlers tried to gather together. They played several break balls, mainly due to work on Dovgan's block and the surprise effect from Kayumov in the fourth zone – but they could no longer stop ASK, who felt the blood and smell of the 5th victory of the season.
